Roscommon Gaels GAA club has been in existence since 1889. From the very beginning it sought to provide football and hurling to all that lived in Roscommon parish.

James Costello first started gathering young hurlers together in the Creagh area in 1967 and this was to form the foundation of Padraig Pearses hurling many years later.
Tremane

The Tremane club was founded in 1945 as a football club, but changed to a hurling club in 1949. Tremane is situated in the parish Athleague & Knockcroghery and is about three miles south of Roscommon Town.

RosCamán is a sub-committee of Coiste Iomána Ros Comáin, the underage hurling committee in Roscommon. It’s primary objective is to heighten hurling standards with a strategic vision for the development of hurling throughout Roscommon.
